This wonderful experience in Türkiye will stay in my memory for a long time. Every day spent in Türkiye is a journey of learning and exploration, where every corner of the city is steeped in a rich and comprehensive history that reflects the diverse culture and traditions of the land. The gastronomy, a constant source of surprise and delight, is a true testament to the passion and hard work of the Turkish people who take great pride in their beloved country. And of course, there's İstanbul, a vibrant and bustling city that offers a wide variety of experiences to suit every taste and preference, making it impossible to ever feel bored.
From the moment I arrived in Turkey, I felt like I was part of the city and society. The hospitable and friendly people made me feel right at home, and I soon made many beautiful Turkish and fellow international friends through the KATİP program. The teachers were always committed to helping us learn the language and navigate its complexities, especially for those of us from Latin languages.
The best memories of this experience have remained in my memory and will never be erased and I will continue to be in touch with this incredible country that exceeded all my expectations. I will continue to work academically to strengthen the relations between our countries, because the similarities are more than imagined.
