As a career diplomat, I’m truly grateful for the enriching opportunity to participate in the KATİP program. It was a multifaceted experience that not only offered structured learning—such as the Turkish language course and insightful institutional and cultural visits—but also created space for genuine connection with Türkiye’s vibrant culture. Sharing traditional meals, engaging in rich discussions with local experts, and experiencing everyday customs brought a deeper understanding of the country far beyond what any textbook could provide.
One of the most valuable aspects of KATİP was the human dimension: building meaningful ties between my country and Türkiye, and forming lasting bonds with fellow participants from around the world. That spirit of exchange and friendship turned the program into a truly extraordinary experience.
