I used to have a perception of Türkiye based on hearsay as a civil servant in Taiwan. I considered it a distant Islamic country. However, after conducting research and traveling there, my perception has completely changed. I discovered a country that is extremely hospitable, educated, developed, peaceful, respectful to people and nature, and safe.
I learned Turkish from scratch, nowadays I can listen to Turkish songs, watch movies, read newspapers and chat with the owners in the store. I feel like my second home.
